Join us every Tuesday for a nature walk in the woods on the forested trails that make up the woodlands of Twisted Roots Farm. These nature walks are fun, interactive and help kids with nature awareness and connection.
Each week, we will have a different theme as we explore the forests that surround us here at the farm. Walks include activities such as plant and tree identification, tracking, navigating off trail travel and anything else that organically happens along the way. We will also have selected walks that will be with some of the goats from our herd introducing kids to parts of the farm on some weeks as well.
These walks run from 4 pm to 5 :30 pm every Thursday for the month of October. Cost is by donation and open to kids from 6 to 12 years of age. Pre-registration is required as we can only host up to 10 kids per nature walk.
